На основании анализа опубликованных результатов сейсмической изученности района озера Байкал подобраны слоистые модели Р-волн для двух ситуаций: высокоскоростных консолидированных пород по бортам озера и низкоскоростных осадочных отложений толщиной до 10 км под его дном.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Whereas the defined velocity model plays a key role in the process of seismic events localization, so selection of the model as much as possible corresponding to the real velocity conditions of the investigated area becomes a crucial task.
